How it works

Beginning Latin - Live Class

  • Online Lectures

    Students are provided with daily grammar and vocabulary lessons and assignments to review. They can pause, rewind, and replay as needed.

  • Exercises and Quizzes

    Students have weekly exercises and quizzes to complete after reviewing the online lessons.

  • Translations

    Starting in Week 4 students will begin translating adapted writings of real Roman authors, learning about the culture, history, and people of Rome.

  • Live Class

    Each week we will gather together as a class to clarify grammar, vocabulary, to work on translations together, and to discuss Roman history and culture.

I have a deep love and appreciation for the Latin language and Roman history, and I've been blessed with the opportunity to teach these classes in a variety of settings. I've taught Latin to all types of students, from middle schoolers to graduate students and everything in between. As a classical homeschooling father, I also know how important it is to provide your children with the best quality education you can. That's why I'm offering these courses. It's my goal to help bridge the gap for parents who want to offer their children the best Classical Education they can, but perhaps don't have a strong Latin background themselves. Parents, I'm here to tell you: it is possible! And I'm happy to help provide the solution. With you, the homeschooling parent, in mind I've designed these courses to be the perfect balance of flexible and hands-on. God bless.
