This translation workshop is led by an active Latinist who is also trained in theology. We'll primarily focus on the Latin grammar and vocabulary, but there's always room for great discussion of the text itself!

This workshop is perfect for all: whether you're rusty and looking to brush up, or a homeschooling parent looking to better your Latin, or a homeschooling student in high school!

If you're looking to work on your Latin translation, this workshop is for you! We'll have six intensive work sessions focused on the art of translating. With a small class size, questions and discussion are welcome and encouraged! Plan to come to class each week with a translation prepared. We will read through our translations verse by verse. Each person will present and discuss their translations together. This is a hands-on, low-pressure environment that is dedicated to learning Latin and appreciating the beauty of Mark's Gospel.
